Biden, Trump Sweep to Arkansas Primary Victories, Local Results

Arkansas was one of the states holding Presidential Primaries on Tuesday and the frontrunners for each party easily garnered the most votes. 

Democratic Incumbent Joe Biden and Republican Donald Trump easily won the most delegates from the state, following a trend in the other 14 states and one territory holding a primary on Tuesday. 
There were other races for federal office including District 3 Congressman with Republican Incumbent Steve Womack fending off a challenge from Clint Penzo to secure the nomination. Carroll County is part of House District 3. 
Boone County Clerk Crystal Graddy reports around 21 ½ % of voters cast ballots in the election. There will be a runoff race for Justice of the Peace in District 5 at Republican Primary Winner Danny Hickman did not get 50% of the vote in a three-way race. He will have a runoff race against second place finisher Kyle Evatt. Other JIP Primary Winners were Matt Odom (1), Bryan Snavely (4), Sam Tinsely (6), Ralph Guynn (9).
The contested School Board Race in Bergman goes to Dale Anderson over Jacob Crawford.
The Alpena, Bergman, Harrison, Lead Hill, Omaha, and Valley School Districts all good favorable votes on their Mill Tax Questions but a couple of districts, Lead Hill and Omaha, had them pass with under 50% approval. 

In Carroll County, Clerk Connie Doss reports just over 22% of voters turned out to cast a ballot. 

School Mill Tax issues faced a tougher outcome in Carroll County as voters in Berryville and Green Forest voted down their issues while voters in Eureka Springs passed their tax. Contested School Board races went to Dustin Walker in Berryville and Nikki Hill in Green Forest. 
Results in Marion County include Justice of the Peace Winners Leslie Kerwood (6), Wesley Shipman (7) and Tommy Dean Johnson (9). Kerwood and Johnson beat the incumbents in those races. 

A contested School Board Race in the Ozark Mountain District saw Jason Smith beat incumbent Jesse Rose. 

In Searcy County, JP Winners include Matt Smith in District 3 and Danny Loggins in District 4. One JP Race will need a runoff as Debbie Loggains and Brian Ragland will vie for the Republican Nomination. Incumbent Time Hinkle as been eliminated from the race finishing third.
