A man from Benton County dies in a motorcycle crash as he was traveling into Carroll County early Sunday morning.
The Arkansas State Police reports the crash took place around 3:30 am on Highway 62 as a motorcycle driven by 51-year-old Wesley Matthews crossed into Carroll County. Matthews lost control of his motorcycle exiting the roadway while being ejected from the cycle with both he and the motorcycle ending up in a ravine.
435 people have now lost their lives in accidents worked by the Arkansas State Police in 2021.
