A man from Arkansas has been arrested after an incident where a woman was killed and the attempted to take his own life in Reeds Spring.
According to a release from the Stone County Sheriff’s Office, 19-year-old Gavin Justice of Bella Vista is charged with 1st Degree Murder and Armed Criminal Action.
On Monday, Sheriff’s Deputies and Reeds Spring Police Officers responded to a report of a man running around covered in blood in the downtown area. Officers eventually located the man in an apartment across from the Reeds Spring Post Office. A deceased 19-year-old female was also discovered by officers.
The release adds that Justice is currently in an area hospital being treated for his injuries and will be taken to a jail with medical facilities once he is well enough to be moved.
