A major traffic crash near Aurora involving a car and five motorcycles leads to four deaths and an arrest.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports, 51-year-old Theresa Manetzke of Aurora has been charged with a Felony DWI resulting in the death of two or more individuals as well as Failure to Drive on the Right Side of Roadway. Manetzke's car crossed the centerline on Highway 39 north of Aurora striking the motorcycles coming in the opposite direction overturning all of the cycles and ejecting all of the drivers and passengers.
Four people ranging in age from 17 to 61 died in the crash while seven others, included Manetzke, sustained serious injuries and were transported to area hospitals for treatment.
