An annual drive to help feed hungry families during the holidays is underway at many area grocers in connection with the Ozarks Food Harvest.
The 25th Annual Check Out Hunger campaign began Nov. 1, and will run through the end of the year. The campaign allows customers to round-up their bill, or add $1, $3, or $5 in a tax-free donation when they shop at local stores.
Every dollar raised can provide $10 in groceries to families in southwest Missouri who are in need.
