Virginia Marie Getchell, 63 of Omaha, passed away at her home on Sunday, June 12, 2022.
Virginia was born in Danbury, Connecticut on June 1, 1959 to Raymond Lee Eaton & Susan (Lawler) Eaton. On July 9, 1981 she married Kenneth Getchell in New Milford, CT. They moved to Omaha in 1991. Virginia loved the outdoors and enjoyed the summer and mowing her yard. She attended New Hope Baptist Church in Omaha. She was upbeat, cheerful and always active and an avid animal lover.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Linda Consavage, Susan Eaton and Mary Eaton.
She is survived by her husband Kenneth of Omaha and her brother Raymond Eaton and wife Jackie of Ansonia, CT.
Memorials may be made to Ozark Humane Society, P. O. Box 542, Harrison, AR 72602 in Virginia’s honor.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson.
