Thomas Crone, Sr., age 61, of Joplin, Missouri

Thomas Crone, Sr., age 61, of Joplin, Missouri passed away Monday, February 21, 2022 at his home.

He was born February 20, 1961 in La Mirada, California the son of Robert and Linda (Benton) Crone, who preceded him in death.  Also preceding him in death were one sister, Lisa Hudgins; his grandmother, Nellie Benton and stepdad, Gene Oberhelman.

Surviving are four sons, Thomas Crone Jr. and his wife Jessica of Rio Linda, California, Robert Crone and his wife Elizabeth of Springdale, Arkansas, Phillip Crone and his wife Breanna of Joplin, Missouri and Dana Crone of Holiday Island, Arkansas; one daughter, Amber Motley and her fiancé Joshua Easterday of Tecumseh, Missouri; two brothers, Randy Crone and his wife Bonnie of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Phillip Morgan and his wife Tanya of Joplin, Missouri; two sisters, Nancy Joyner and her husband Lonnie of Chico, California and Penny Gentry and her fiancé Scott Schaeffer of Eureka Springs, Arkansas; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Thomas attended school in Eagle Grove, Iowa moving to this area in 1970.  He owned and operated an auto mechanic shop as well as All My Son’s Flooring business.  His passion was cars but most of all he loved his family, especially his grandkids.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.  Pastor Phillip Morgan and Pastor Joe Pride will conduct the services.  Burial will be at King Cemetery in Seligman. 

The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until service time Saturday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
