   Thaddeus Matthew “Matt” Cooper, age 43, of Eagle Rock, Missouri

           Thaddeus Matthew “Matt” Cooper, age 43, of Eagle Rock, Missouri passed away Saturday, February 4, 2023 from a drug overdose.

            He was born in Cassville, Missouri on December 9, 1979 the son of Jeff and Linda (Wheeler) Cooper.

            Surviving are his father, Jeff and his wife Tabetha Cooper of Cassville, Missouri; his mother, Linda Cooper of Cassville, Missouri; one son, Maddox Cooper of Cassville, Missouri; one brother, Jacob Cooper of Springfield, Missouri and his paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Elsie Cooper of Cassville, Missouri.

            Matt was a graduate of Cassville High School in 1998 and the University of Missouri in 2003. His career consisted of various leadership roles and entrepreneurial endeavors. Matt enjoyed all sports, especially coaching young kids in sports. Matt was an avid fan of Mizzou athletics and the Las Vegas Raiders. In his free time, Matt enjoyed music, the outdoors, sporting events and spending time with family and friends. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Cassville.

            Private services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville, Missouri.

             At the request of the family in lieu of flowers contributions may be made to SWMO Restore & Builds of Cassville in memory of Matt.
