Susan Elizabeth Lampe, age 74, of Cassville, Missouri

Susan Elizabeth Lampe, age 74, of Cassville, Missouri passed away Monday, April 18, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Cassville, Missouri.

She was born September 11, 1947 in Los Angeles, California the daughter of Hank and Evelyn (Bare) Lampe, who preceded her in death.  Also preceding her in death was one sister.

Surviving are her lifelong partner, Jim Post of Cassville, Missouri and one daughter, Brigitte Schoofs and her wife Barbara of Ft. Smith, Arkansas.

Susan graduated high school in California.  After graduating she started showing horses up and down the west coast and won several buckles and trophies, this was her passion.  When watching western movies, she could tell what ranch a horse came from.  She also loved training and trading horses.  Susan had lived in this area over twenty years.  Her australian shepherd and pomeranian was a big part of her life.  She was of the Catholic faith.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 23, 2022, at 15498 Farm Road 2175, Cassville, Missouri 65625.  Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
