Sharon Charlene Washam, age 80, of Washburn, Missouri

Sharon Charlene Washam, age 80, of Washburn, Missouri passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Mercy Hospital Northwest Arkansas in Rogers, Arkansas.

            She was born in Aurora, Missouri on June 30, 1942 the daughter of Jack and Nellie (Fullerton) Means, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were two brothers, Jack Means and Bo Means; one sister, Marion Carroll and one daughter, Rhonda Miller.

            Surviving are two sons, Wayne Washam and his wife Kim of Cassville, Missouri and Russell Washam of Rockport, Texas; one sister, Claron Beach of Aurora, Missouri; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

            Sharon received her education at Southwest High School in Washburn, Missouri. She was employed by Pel-Freez Biologicals in Rogers, Arkansas and later by Walmart in Rogers as a cashier for several years until she became ill. Sharon absolutely loved shopping for others as she was a very giving person. She enjoyed collecting dolls and visiting relatives, but most of all she loved her family and grandchildren very much. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Washburn, Missouri.

            Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora, Missouri, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Kevin Hilton will conduct the services.
