Raymond Edward Cornett

Raymond Edward Cornett, 71 of Reeds Spring, MO

Raymond Edward Cornett was born on February 18, 1950 in Kansas City, Missouri.  He was the son of Louis Cornett & Genevive (Robinson) Cornett.  He worked with automobiles and performed body shop work for a time before his disability made it too difficult to work.

Raymond entered into rest on August 22, 2021 at Cox Medical Center, Springfield.

He is survived by his children, Joy Cornett, Joe Cornett, Junior Cornett, Kimberly Cornett, Donny Cornett, Deanna Miller, Jay Cornett, Trevor Cornett and Christopher Cornett along with other children he called his own, grandchildren and extended family.

A celebration of Raymond’s life will be held at Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory on Saturday, September 11 at 1:00 P.M. in the afternoon.

Raymond would like to let you all know that his work here is done.  He received a call, a sort of offer you cannot refuse, for an appointment from which he will not be returning.  This assignment comes with a huge sign-on bonus, a reunion with friends and family he has not seen in a long time.  Job security is exactly one hundred percent.  His new mission takes him to a wonderful place where he will be socializing.  A place where dancing, fishing, music, laughter, and love are all guaranteed.  Food is delicious and you never gain an ounce.  He left detailed instructions for his children to celebrate his mission here, which now has been completed.  Low adherence to this instruction will not be tolerated!
