Quinto Joseph Garufi, 67, of Flippin, Arkansas

Quinto Joseph Garufi, 67, of Flippin, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2026. He was born on July 20, 1958, in Wichita, Kansas, to Joseph and Vivian Abotta Garufi.

Quinto proudly served in the United States Air Force and worked as an airplane mechanic. A true jack-of-all-trades, he enjoyed fixing, building, and working on projects around his home and property. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing, floating, and riding his tractor.

In 1999, Quinto and his beloved wife of 35 years, Kathryn “Kathy” Garufi, moved to Arkansas. Together, they purchased 10 acres in the country and built their home, creating a place filled with family, hard work, and cherished memories.

Above all, Quinto was devoted to his family. He took great pride in his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and his love for them was evident in all he did.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings Ronnie, Sue, Gene, Mary, and Alvin; and his grandson, Trey.

Quinto is survived by his wife, Kathy; children Deanna and husband Jeremy Reynolds, Tina and husband Jeffrey Middleton, Jeremy and wife Amy Troxel, Darrell Lambert, Joe and wife Dena Garufi; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his brother, John and wife Vicky Skelton; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

He will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, many talents, love of the outdoors, and deep devotion to his family.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.
