Phyllis Kay Burchette, age 81, Branson, Missouri

Phyllis Kay Burchette, born March 25, 1941 to David and Edna Chudacoff in Los Angeles CA, went home to be with the Lord on March 9, 2023. Her family imagines her dancing in Heaven with her husband, Lyle T. Burchette, who she had missed dearly.

Phyllis leaves behind a sister, Patricia (Jim) Carter, two daughters; Dianne Simpson (Robbie) and Debra Tucker (Robert), and one son, Michael T. Burchette (Laura). Phyllis had a nephew, Chris Carter, who preceded her in death as well as her husband and parents.

Phyllis loved her many grandchildren. She took them to amusement parks and traveled with them on her Military Reunion Tours. Phyllis had 8 grandchildren; Rose Marie, David, Phillip, Michelle, Synthia, Cortnie, Michael and Matthew. Those 8 grandchildren gave her 14(with one on the way) great grandchildren. She loved and prayed for every single one of them. They were her pride and joy and she told everyone she met about them! She carried pictures of as many of them as she could. They were, Taylor, Stephen, Lauryn, Payton, Elijah, Julian, Ethan, Michael, Tommy, Hellena, Kaia, Anthony, Jaedyn, and Emerson. Phyllis was lucky enough to be "Gmom" to her great great grandchildren; Urijah, Kaia, and Aliyah.

Phyllis was a friend to many and was always there when a helping hand was needed. The world will definitely lose a little of its sparkle with her gone.

Services for Phyllis will be Tuesday, March 14, 2023 in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.  Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM with the funeral service to begin at 2:00 PM.  Phyllis will be laid to rest immediately following in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.  Pastor Martin Jones will officiate. In memory of Phyllis, donations are requested to Christian Action Ministry, 610 S 6th St STE 102, Branson, MO 65616.
