Peggy Jo Egbert, age 82, of Branson
Peggy Jo Egbert, age 82, of Branson, Missouri, passed away on July 9, 2026. She entered this life on March 18, 1944, the daughter of Charles and Evelyn (Scanland) Melvin in Macomb, Illinois. Peggy was joined in marriage to Larry Egbert on October 27, 1963.
Peggy dedicated her life to serving her Lord Jesus Christ all of her days. Her passion for ministering to the world was evident in all aspects of her life. Her mission and ministry were very important to her. She also carried a deep love for family. She was a proud mother and grandmother. She leaves a lasting legacy of grace for all who knew her.
Peggy is survived by her husband, Larry Egbert; son, Todd Egbert and wife, Dawn; son, Chad Egbert; grandchildren: Kylie, Kacie, and Jade; and sister, Debbie Melvin.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Linda and Pat; and daughter, Lisa Egbert.
There will be a celebration of life at 11:00 on Monday, July 13, 2026, at Branson United Methodist Church, 1208 W. 76 Country Blvd, Branson, Missouri, with Revend Dave Wiant officiating.
