Patricia Sue “Patsy” Boyd, age 83, of Purdy, Missouri.

Patricia Sue “Patsy” Boyd, age 83, of Purdy, Missouri passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at her home.

She was born November 26, 1940 in Purdy, Missouri the daughter of Jerry Leon and Ava Lee (McHolland) Terry. On April 9, 1961 in Monett, Missouri she was united in marriage to Robert Boyd, who preceded her in death on March 24, 2017. Also preceding her in death were her parents; one brother, Joe Lee Terry and one sister, Shirley Ann Allen.

Surviving are one son, Danny Boyd and his wife Frannie of Purdy, Missouri; two daughters, Tammy Robinson of Pierce City, Missouri and Bobbi Jones and her husband Tim of Purdy, Missouri; three brothers, Donnie Terry and his wife Betty of Joplin, Missouri, Johnny Terry and his wife Betty of Purdy, Missouri and Kenny Terry and his wife Julie of Purdy, Missouri; three sisters, Jeanne Garrett and her husband Glenn of Purdy, Missouri, Nancy Roller of Monett, Missouri and Jane Sisney of Monett, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Jessica, Jacob, Brayden, Rion, Colby, Rylee, Taylor and Grant and two great grandchildren, Brik and Alec.

Patsy grew up and attended school in Purdy, Missouri graduating from Purdy High School in 1958. She was employed by FASCO Industries in Cassville, Missouri from where she retired in May of 2020. Patsy enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching the St. Louis Cardinals play baseball and watching Family Feud on TV. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Patsy was a member of Arnhart Baptist Church.

Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at Arnhart Baptist Church in Purdy, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Mike Payne and Reverend Lawrence Shuey will conduct the services. Burial will be at Arnhart Cemetery in Purdy, Missouri.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 P.M. Monday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.

Contributions may be made to Arnhart Baptist Church in memory of Patsy.
