The Gutting family is celebrating the life of Patricia Ann Winn Gutting who went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 13, 2022.

Patsy was born in Long Beach, Calif. on May 9, 1932, and moved to southern Iowa in 1942 where her father opened a butcher shop in Keokuk, Iowa.  Her parents, Lloyd and Gladys Winn put down roots and Patsy grew up there.

When Patsy was 18, she was a waitress at the little café on the town square of Kahoka, Missouri, just across the Mississippi River from Keokuk.  It was at that café she met the love of her life, Paul Gutting, a local farm boy with a bright future.

Patsy and Paul married, had three children, Kristopher, Nena and Samantha while living in Kahoka.  In the 1970s the Gutting family moved to the Kimberling City area of the Ozark Mountains where Patsy worked alongside Paul in the family-owned business, just as she always had. From the Tri-State Dragway in the 1960s to Countryside Park, Patsy loved to be a part of all that Paul did.

Patsy loved spending time with her family and so many, many friends. Always entertaining, there was hardly a day without multiple friends and family members sharing coffee or a meal with Patsy and Paul. Family get-togethers were a highlight of her life; she loved nothing more than to be with them all, listening to stories and sharing so much laughter.

Patsy loved traveling with Paul and her beloved dogs, Whiz and Chewy, in their motorhome. Through the years they traveled all across the United States and Mexico.

Patsy is survived by her loving and devoted husband Paul, their son Kristopher (fiancée Rhonda Tyree), daughters Nena Piemonte (Jack) and Samantha Gutting; their grandchildren Trevor Gutting (Sherri), Paul Foreman, great-grandchildren Wyatt Gutting and Kolten Gutting, as well as family member Connie Gutting.

Patsy will be missed more than words can express, but we know we will see her again. W.L.Y.T.M.
