Norma Signe Schultz

Norma Signe Schultz, age 94, of Shell Knob, Missouri.

Norma Signe Schultz, age 94, of Shell Knob, Missouri passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Roaring River Health and Rehabilitation in Cassville, Missouri.

She was born July 22, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Charles and Signe (Thomander) Williams. On May 27, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois she was united in marriage to Ralph George Schultz, who preceded her in death on August 30, 1980. Also preceding her in death were her parents; one sister, Thelma and an infant brother, Charles.

Surviving are one son, Ralph Schultz and his wife Tricia of Elgin, Illinois; one daughter, Sandy Cupps and her husband John of Shell Knob, Missouri; three grandchildren, Matt Cupps, Scott Cupps and his wife Kim and Julie Shelby and her husband Weston and two great grandchildren, Karson Shelby and Kora Shelby.

Norma grew up and graduated high school in Illinois and later attended college for one year. She was employed by East Main District 63 in Des Plains, Illinois as a school district secretary. While in Illinois she attended church at Arlington Countryside Church, after moving to Shell Knob in 2011 she attended the Shell Knob Church of Christ.

Norma was a kind soul whom many said she didn’t have a mean bone in her body. She took great pleasure and joy in the little everyday things like a beautiful sunset, hummingbirds in summer and cardinals in winter, family and friends. She was a friend to all and enjoyed sending cards for all occasions. She loved shopping for that just right gift and some said “Norma shops on a different planet!” She loved reading and especially history, even all the historical markers along the road.  She enjoyed going out to eat, knitting, crocheting and giving away her famous dish clothes and towels.

Norma had deep faith and love for our Lord Jesus Christ, her children, grand and great-grandchildren.

There will be a memorial service at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Shell Knob Church of Christ in Shell Knob. Memorial donations may be made to College of the Ozarks, P.O. Box 17, Point Lookout, Missouri 65726 or the Shell Knob Church of Christ, P.O. Box 202, Shell Knob, Missouri 65747. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
