Norma Adell Higgs, age 83, of Wichita, Kansas.

Norma Adell Higgs, age 83, of Wichita, Kansas passed away Saturday, January 1, 2022 at her home.

She was born January 4, 1938 in Bald Knob, Arkansas the daughter of Frank Leslie and Velva Mae (Cross) Fritts.  On May 4, 1956 in Wichita, Kansas she was united in marriage to Hugh Darrell “H.D.” Higgs, who preceded her in death on October 5, 2003.  Also preceding her in death were her parents; three brothers and four sisters.

Surviving are one son, Brad Higgs and his wife Kim of Mulvane, Kansas; one daughter, Pam Baker and her husband Mike of Wichita, Kansas; one sister, Betty McCoy and her husband Howard of Wichita, Kansas; four grandchildren, Matt, Lesley, Travis and James and seven great grandchildren.

Norma attended High School in Wichita, Kansas.  She was employed by Beech Aircraft in Wichita as an expeditor.  After retiring in 1997 she moved to Exeter, moving back to Wichita in 2004 after H.D. passed away.  Family was the most important to her, especially hearing what her grandchildren and great grandchildren were doing.  She was a member of Believers Southern Baptist Church in Wichita.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, January 7, 2022 at Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.  Pastor Milford Baker will conduct the services.
