Matthew Sean Warren McGeisey was born September 19, 1988.

Matthew Sean Warren McGeisey was born September 19, 1988 in Claremore, Oklahoma.  He attended kindergarten in Sperry, Oklahoma and then moved with his family to Hollister, Missouri.  Matthew attended school at Hollister where he excelled on the baseball team and graduated in 2007.  He studied welding at the Tulsa School of Welding and enjoyed working at Jenfab as a welder in Springfield.

Matthew’s love of sports started as a youngster, playing against his siblings and for the Hollister Tigers and carried into his adult life as he enjoyed watching all types of sports.  He played golf and relished time spent at the driving range with his brother Daniel and nephews. He also loved attending activities his nieces and nephews were involved with.  He enjoyed exercising and spending time at the gym.  He could be found working on and fixing up cars in his spare time.  Matthew was deeply connected to his family.  He had a caring relationship with each of his family members and was very protective of them.  His love and presence will be deeply missed.

Matthew entered into rest on Sunday, January 16, 2022 in St. Clair, Missouri at the age of 33. 

He is survived by his parents, Freddie Warren and Ginny McGeisey of Merriam Woods; his sister, Loretta Blackwood & husband Carlton of Ripley, TN; brothers, James Warren of Merriam Woods and Daniel Warren of Merriam Woods; his daughter, Taytum Grace of Kirbyville; and his adored nieces and nephews, Noah Blackwood, Isaac Blackwood, Benjamin Blackwood, Eden Blackwood, Alyssa Warren and Caysen Warren.

A wake honoring Seminole tradition will be held Thursday evening, January 27, 2022 from 6:00 – 9:00 PM at Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.  Funeral services will be Friday, January 28 at 1:00 PM in the funeral home with burial following in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.
