Marilyn JoAnn Genua

Marilyn JoAnn Genua was born on April 11, 1946 in Olympia, Washington.

She was the daughter of John R. Geiser and Alma Catherine (Westmeyer) Geiser.  She married Richard Genua on March 10, 1967 in Greeley, CO.  Marilyn was creative and artistic.  She enjoyed sewing and owned and operated her own commercial embroidery business.  She liked painting and scrapbooking as well.  She used her sewing skills in service and ministry to others through the outreach Mended Hearts.  Marilyn also enjoyed the outdoors and spent time boating and fishing.  After she and Richard moved to Branson, Marilyn was a member of the Forsyth Christian Church for many years.

Marilyn entered into rest on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at Cox Medical Center Branson at the age of 75.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Richard.

Marilyn is survived by her children, Richard J. Genua and wife Holly of Branson; Jodi Cooper and husband Cody of Greeley; and Eileen Ladwig and husband Jeff of Greeley; her five precious grandchildren and her significant other Dean “Dino” Holman.

Services will be at Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory in Branson on Friday, October 22, 2021.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM and funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM.  Burial will be in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.
