Marcia Lynne Corson Benavidez Teel 75, of Kissee Mills, Missouri

Marcia Lynne Corson Benavidez Teel 75, of Kissee Mills, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at her home. A memorial service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. in Preston, MN.  

Marcia was born on Friday, December 13, 1946 at Lanesboro, MM to Manford (Stub) and Millie (Davidson) Corson. She attended Harmony Grade School and Preston High School and graduating in 1964. She was very active in band. She enjoyed roller skating in Harmony and bowling in Preston at our folk’s bowling alley. She loved horses and participated in barrel races and trail rides.  She graduated from Methodist Kahler Nursing School as a registered nurse.   Her first assignment was in Anchorage, Alaska when the big earthquake came!  She met and married Max Benavidez in Rochester, MN  on March 16, 1974. They later divorced.  She made several trips to Mexico with him and spoke good Spanish which helped her with her nursing skills.   Max grew up on the Yucatán where his grandma raised fighting bulls. She and max had Margarite and Matthew Benavidez. Max had Jon and lisa before, Marcia married Doug Teel.  He had 2 children; Nolan and Kortney. She and Doug Teel married on August 3, 2002.  He died October 20, 2012.
 

She is survived by her children; eleven grandchildren, Kathryn, Kaitlyn, Kaleb, Jon, Michelle, Thomas, Travis, Jazmin, Alexa, Nevada, Jackson and two great-grandchildren, Evan, and Ian.
 
She is preceded in death by Max Benavidez, Stub and Millie Corson, Kaleb Rivera, and Greg Davis.

Cremation is under the direction of the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home, Forsyth, MO.
