Pops attended school in Wheaton, Missouri graduating from Wheaton High School.  He was employed by Seven Valley’s Construction in Cassville, laying gas lines.  Pops was the life of the party, never knew a stranger and shared his love with everyone. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He put the needs of everyone else above his own and never wanted anyone to be worried about him, he spread his love to everyone around him. He loved being on the farm and playing with his cows and the various other animals he was talked into getting. He loved spending time with his children, whether it was the ones that called him dad or the ones that he took under his wing and tried to help down this path called life. He loved spending time with all of his grandchildren, he had a special bond with each of them. Most of them got to go on the Saturday morning ride to go get feed, he had his routine of going to the bank to get suckers, then to Fastrip for bug juice and pizza, then onto the feed store for whatever treat Vicki had for them. He treasured these times he got to spend with the children doing the things that he loved.
