Lana Sue Barker, age 61, of Branson and Independence, Missouri.

Lana Sue Barker was born on October 8, 1959 in Branson, MO to Wayne and Marie Barker. Lana grew up in Branson and graduated from Branson High School. She currently lived in Independence, MO.

Lana enjoyed reading and being outside. She loved to watch movies and craft. Lana was a loving daughter, sister and mother and will be deeply missed.

Lana entered into rest on Tuesday, September 28 at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence at the age of 61.

She was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Barker; brother Brad Barker and step-father Jim Fulkerson.

Lana is survived by her daughter, Amanda Barker of Kansas City, MO; her mother, Marie Fulkerson of Branson; brother Steve Barker and wife Dody of Birmingham, AL; sister Julie Barker of Ozark, MO; and twin sister Jana Fear and husband Harold of Kansas City, MO.

A celebration of Lana’s life will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 with visitation at 9:00 A.M. and services at 10:00 A.M. in the Branson Bible Church with Dr. Rich Toliver officiating. Burial will be in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory.
