LaDonna Kathryn Angel

Beloved mother and sister, LaDonna K. Angel, entered into rest on April 15, 2024 at Cox Medical Center in Springfield.

LaDonna Kathryn Angel was born in Fort Smith, AR on April 27, 1940.  She was one of three children born to Jerome & Kathryn Glidewell.  She grew up in Arkansas and fell in love with a young man, Roger Angel.  The two were married on December 29, 1956 in Poteau, OK.  Roger’s job in sales took them to live in many places across Oklahoma, Arkansas and Missouri.  LaDonna stayed home and cared for her three children as they grew up and made a beautiful home for her family.  When they settled in the Branson/Forsyth area, LaDonna worked for Blakemore Lures before working several years at Lugene’s in Branson.   She retired from Tan-Tone Industries after working many years in administration there.

LaDonna loved spending time with her family and enjoyed her fur grandbabies as well.  She was a fantastic gardener and loved all types of flowers and plants.  Her presence will be so deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerome and Kathryn; her husband Roger; son-in-law Bobby Lee; brother David Glidewell and granddaughter LaDonna Louise Lee.

She is survived by her children, John R. “Johnny” Angel, Jr. of Springfield, Andrew “Andy” Angel (Beth Willingham-Angel) of Springfield and Cynthia Kay “Cindy” Lee (Dave Jones) of Kissee Mills as well as one brother, Jerry Glidewell of Van Buren, AR.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.  Services are in the care of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson.
