Kevin Ray Goodman

Kevin Ray Goodman, age 62, of Harrison, Arkansas.

Kevin Ray Goodman, age 62, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away on April 25, 2025. He entered this life on February 23, 1963, in Wellington, Kansas, the son of Elgin and Geraldine (Popplewell) Goodman. Kevin was joined in marriage on April 13, 2010, to Penny Christy.

In 2011, Kevin began working with Short Company out of Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he built car washes across the United States. Wanting to be closer to home, he accepted a position with the Boone County Road Department in Arkansas. He met many wonderful people from both jobs that he claimed as his work family. He enjoyed being outdoors, whether that was mowing, hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, or drinking coffee on the porch.

Kevin spent many hours in his shop helping family, neighbors, and friends with projects that they needed his assistance with. There was nothing he couldn't do. He was a happy, fun-loving man, who liked dancing, telling stories, and sharing jokes. Kevin had a kind soul and would do anything for anyone. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and his family and friends were his world. Kevin is most definitely unforgettable.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Elgin and Geraldine Goodman; brother, David Goodman; sister-in-law, Jan Goodman; nephew, Scott Strathman; Joe Smith; and father-in-law, Harry Miller.
