Karron “Kay” Beck, age 77, of Cassville, Missouri.

Karron “Kay” Beck, age 77, of Cassville, Missouri left this life on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at her home. 

She was born March 13, 1944 in Verona, Missouri the daughter of Elmer and Ardella (Rouschebach) Lawson. On November 26, 1961 in Miami, Oklahoma she was united in marriage to James “Floyd” Beck, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Jim Beck of Cassville, Missouri and John Beck and his wife Brandi of Cassville, Missouri; two daughters, Deedra Beck of Springfield, Missouri and Jonna Griffanti of Cassville, Missouri; one brother, Bill Lawson of Springfield, Missouri; four sisters, Della Housch and her husband Kenny of Diamond, Missouri, Sondra Hilker of Joplin, Missouri, Darlene Cox and her husband Jim of Florida and Carolyn Forrester and her husband Leon of Florida; seven grandchildren, Donny Griffanti, Joey Griffanti and his wife Haley, Ryan Koperski, Rachel Koperski, Colton Beck and his wife Jessica, Sequoia Beck and Rykon Beck and twelve great grandchildren. 

Preceding her in death were her parents; one son, Ernie Beck; three brothers, Bob Lawson, Don Lawson and John Lawson and one sister, Norma Warner. 

Kay grew up in the Verona, Missouri area and graduated from Monett High School in 1960. After graduation she and Floyd were married then moved to Ukiah, California where she was employed by a title company as a bookkeeper for several years. Moving back to Cassville in 1989 she began working for Wal-Mart as an office administrator at the home office in Bentonville, Arkansas from where she retired after twenty-three years. Some of her favorite pastimes were gardening and taking trips to see historic sites and old homes. Kay enjoyed family get togethers, her sister weekends, and taking the grandkids places. She had a joyous personality and loved to laugh but most of all she loved her family. 

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
