Karin Bowers, 62 of Reeds Spring, MO

It is with sadness we announce the passing of our beloved, Karin Bowers. She entered into rest on Sunday, July 18, 2021 in Branson.

Karin Zaitun Bowers was born in Georgetown, Guyana on January 13, 1959 to Albert & Thema (Silas) Shah. On May 3, 2019 she married William Bowers in Toronto, Canada. She and William moved to Reeds Spring from Scarborough, Ontario.

Karin worked with Transamerica Life Insurance as a supervisor. In her home life, she enjoyed making her space beautiful with music, interior design and tending a colorful outdoor garden. Her love and beauty will be deeply missed.

Karin was preceded in death by her father and a sister, Rehana Shah.

She is survived by her husband, William Bowers of Reeds Spring; mother, Thelma Shah of Scarborough, Ontario; sisters, Nafis Bettencourt of Houston, TX, Sherene Alphonso of Bowmanville, Ontario; brothers, Reza Shah of Freelton, Ontario, Ahmed Shah of Bowmanville, Ontario, Mirza Shah of Scarborough, Ontario; daughters, Alida Claudino (Ryan) of Brampton, Ontario, Nafis Weirick (Eddie) of San Diego, CA; son, Kevin Pestano (Jean) of Canada; step-son, Kurtis Bowers (Jani) of Albuquerque, NM; step-daughter, Kari Matrisciano (Joel) of Meeker, CO and six grandchildren.

Arrangements were under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.
