Julie Maye Nistas, age 63, of Seligman, MO

Julie Maye Nistas, age 63, of Seligman, Missouri passed away Friday, August 13, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Cassville, Missouri.

She was born February 26, 1958 in Vallejo, California, the daughter of John Wayne and Effie Victoria (Kent) Baldwin, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are one son, Joshua Nistas of Tucson, Arizona; father and step-mother, Leo Nistas and Dagmar Lowe of Scottsdale, Arizona; three sisters, Susan “Suzy” Harris of Warner Robins, Georgia, Elizabeth “Libby” Nistas of Delta, Colorado and Marilynne Nistas of Tucson, Arizona.  Also surviving are her granddog, Juno and grandcats, Jax and Jinx.

Julie graduated from Sahuarita High School in Sahuarita, Arizona and attended technical school earning an Associate’s Degree.  She was employed as a secretary by M3 Engineering and Technology Corporation from where she retired in 2017 after twenty-five years.  She enjoyed photography, crafting, being out in nature and eating pizza.  Another interest she enjoyed was genealogy, as it was a big part of who she was and part of what brought her to Missouri.  She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church in Cassville.

Services will be held at a later date.  Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
