Services for Judith Burkitt will be Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 10:00 AM in Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Ozark.
Judith Ellen Burkitt was born on November 25, 1943 in Jersey County, Illinois. She was the daughter of George N. Luke and Tillie E. (Abbott) Luke. Judith moved to Forsyth, MO from Sandwich, IL. She was a hairdresser at the Cutting Point in Ozark. In her spare time Judith enjoyed sewing, reading, gardening and fishing. She especially loved her time with her precious grandchildren.
Judith entered into rest on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at her home in Forsyth at the age of 78.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband LaVerne Bernard Burkitt; and an infant daughter Ellen Marie.
Judith is survived by her children, Russell Burkitt and Lori Burkitt; her sister, Janet Thomasson of Clever, MO and her five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services were under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson.
