Joyce Alene Riedesel

Joyce Alene Riedesel, 73 of Branson, MO

Joyce Alene Riedesel was born on April 4, 1948 in Mexico, Missouri the daughter of Cecil & Ethel (Gerdeman) Pew.  She graduated high school at Van-Far Senior High School in Vandalia, MO.  On November 5, 1966, Joyce married the love of her life, Vincent Riedesel.  Joyce was a loving wife and mother and took the best care of her family.  She gave of herself in the medical field as well caring for patients as a LPN in the nursing home setting and later in clinic offices.

 Joyce was a member of Branson First Church of the Nazarene.  She enjoyed listening to Southern Gospel music.  She also loved reading a good book, crocheting and playing on her iPad.  Her children and grandchildren will greatly miss the time she would take to visit with them.  Her love and presence will be missed on earth until our heavenly reunion.

Joyce left this Earth surrounded by family on Sunday, July 4, 2021 and entered in to Heaven to see all the people that she has missed.

 She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Phyllis Smith.

 Joyce is survived by her husband, Vincent Riedesel of Branson; daughters, Stacy Lybarger (Jerry) of Blue Springs, MO and Kathie Remley of Independence, MO; brother, Cecil Pew of Lee’s Summit, MO; sisters, Bonnie Joy (Floyd) of Vandalia, MO, Marilyn Smith (Virgil) of Vandalia, MO, Sharon Dameron of Bowling Green, MO and Ruth Dameron of Bowling Green, MO along with four grandchildren and one great-grandson.

 A celebration of Joyce’s life will be Thursday, July 8, 2021 beginning with visitation from 2:00-4:00 P.M.  and the service following at 4:00 P.M. in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson.  Private family interment will be at a later date in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield.
