Joseph H. Enno, of Forsyth, MO
Joseph H. Enno, of Forsyth, MO passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on August 16, 2026, at the age of 72. He was born on April 29, 1954, to Henry and Delores (Johnson) Enno. After graduating from Griffin High School in Springfield, IL, he served in the United States Marine Corps and worked for the family business, Springfield Produce Company in Springfield, IL. Joseph married Karen Gruendel on December 17, 1976, and they shared five children together.
Joseph found joy in simple things--enjoyed cooking, gardening, fishing, coaching softball, volunteering for his children’s school, was a Republican Committeeman in Sangamon County, IL, an icon of Edgewater Beach Resort in Forsyth, MO, and spending time with family and friends.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Delores Enno; brother-in-law, Michael Gruendel; brother-in-law, Robert Salefski; sister-in-law, Julie Enno; and granddaughter, Alexandria Sweezer.
Joseph leaves behind his wife, Karen; children, Shawn (Michelle) Enno, Deann (Patrick) Rexroad, Jenny (Josh) Enno, Mindy (Carl) Sweezer, and Becky (Chad) Enno; grandchildren, Hannah (Evan), Bailey (Braxton) , Katelyn , Zack, Brett, Joe, Eriqa, Alex, Jaimie, Caleb (Jayden), Camden, and Macy; five great grandchildren and siblings, Henry, Tom and Peter Enno, and Mary Ann Salefski; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private ceremony will be held with close family and friends.
Local arrangements were under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel, Forsyth, Mo.
