John “Danny” Wingert was born April 29, 1944, in Dunlap, Kansas

John “Danny” Wingert was born April 29, 1944, in Dunlap, Kansas. He went to be with his Lord on January 30, 2022, at the age of 77 years old. He spent the early years of his adult life as a member of the second group of United States Navy Seals from 1964 through 1967. He was a business owner and operator in the Branson area for many years. In his later years, he invested his time with his family, especially his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, woodworking, and gardening.

He is preceded in death by his father, John Leroy Wingert; mother, Bertha Wingert; two brothers; and a sister.

He is survived by his wife, Jeannie Wingert of Branson, Missouri; children: Sheri, Nancy, Bridgitte, Natasha, and Michael; 24 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
