Joe Gibson, age 77 of Hollister, Missouri
Joe Gibson, 77 of Hollister, entered into rest on February 14, 2023 at his home in Hollister.
Harry “Joe” Gibson was born on February 6, 1946 in Memphis Tennessee. Joe was one of 18 children. He graduated from high school in Memphis and then entered the United States Marine Corps. He received an honorable discharge in 1967 as a Corporal at Camp Pendleton, CA.
Joe married his loving wife, Jeanette, on May 26, 1984 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Joe enjoyed time with his family and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton Andrew Gibson and Lena Mae (Judd) Gibson along with 15 siblings.
Joe leaves behind his wife, Jeanette of Hollister; step-children, Ronny Hébert of Branson and Lorie Data of Kirbyville; sisters, Reader Peterson of Hollister and Marie Gibson of California along with his grandchildren Brittney Neubauer, Brandon Neubauer, Sophia Data and Joseph Hébert and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Branson with the day and time to be announced. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.
