JoAnn Curtis, age 81, of Hollister

JoAnn Curtis, age 81, of Hollister, Missouri, passed away on January 22, 2022. She entered this life on May 15, 1940, in Aurora, Illinois, the daughter of Grace Long. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Duane Curtis; two sons: Randy Hoffman, and Robert Hodge Jr.; grandson, Bradley Hodge; and sister, Sandra Barksdale.

As a loving mother, JoAnn loved being able to create special memories with her family through special family traditions. She enjoyed playing bingo, collecting Garfield, growing roses and hibiscuses, and spending time with her dogs: Bug, Buster, and Lily. Fond memories have been made over the years and will comfort those who knew her.

She is survived by her son, Richard Hoffman of Hollister, Missouri; Ronald Hodge of Hollister, Missouri; son, Robert (Deb) Hoffman of Illinois; daughter, Valerie Hoffman of Florida; seven grandchildren: Nikki Hodge, Sandie Hodges, Christina Lanham, Robert Hoffman Jr., Taylor Hoffman, Tony Hoffman, and Jennifer Hoffman; and six great-grandchildren: Devyn Hodge, Bentley Hodge, Christian Hodge, April Lanham, Laiah Hoffman, and Stephen Hoffman.
