Jimmy Lee Brown, age 59, of Cassville, Missouri

            Jimmy Lee Brown, age 59, of Cassville, Missouri passed away Sunday, February 26, 2023 at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, due to complications after brain surgery.

            He was born November 15, 1963 the son of Billy Carl Brown and Velma Joyce Callaway Brown Beardslee at the Harris & Howell Clinic in Purdy, Missouri. He accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior in 2012.

            Jimmy loved working on old cars and enjoyed singing karaoke. He attended school at Purdy, Missouri. He worked for Friend Tire Company most of his life. He loved his son, Shannon, and enjoyed getting out to visit his brothers and sisters, other family members and pestering his cat, Sissy. His family was very important to him, so much so that he took care of his mother the last few years of her life.

            Proceeding him in death were his parents and one brother, Billy Brown.

            Surviving Jimmy are his son, Shannon Brown of Cassville, Missouri; three sisters, Loretta (Kenny) Gabriel of Butler, Missouri, Joanne (Denny) Owens of Aurora, Missouri and Barbara (Dwayne) Wallen of El Dorado Springs, Missouri; two brothers, Bobby (Carla) Brown of Monett, Missouri and Jerry (Brenda) Brown of Monett, Missouri and a host of cousins, aunts, uncle, nieces and nephews.

            Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Brother Tony Martin will conduct the services. Burial will be at Sparks Cemetery in Butterfield, Missouri.

            The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until service time Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.

            In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family in memory of Jimmy.
