Jeannie Gayle Lester, age 63, of Monett, Missouri

            Jeannie Gayle Lester, age 63, of Monett, Missouri passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022.

            She was born July 10, 1959 in Oroville, California the daughter of Doyle and Norma “Gayle” (Dotson) Russell.

            Preceding her in death was her mother.

            Surviving are her father; two sons, Tony Lester of Joplin, Missouri and Bradley Lester and his wife Shannon of Monett, Missouri; one brother, Danny Russell and his wife Brenda of Cassville, Missouri; three sisters, Jeanette Doty and her husband Rick of Monett, Missouri, Mary Griffis and her husband Calvin of Cassville, Missouri and Marie Wattman of Powell, Missouri and two grandchildren, Harper Rae and Logan River.

            Jeannie graduated from Cassville High School in 1977. She was a homemaker until her children were in middle school at which time she began working at the Cassville Elementary School as a nurses aid. She enjoyed playing the harmonica, doing good deeds for others and visiting with people. She was a member of Community Faith Chapel in Cassville.

            Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Donnie Spears will conduct the services. Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Cassville, Missouri.

            The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until service time Tuesday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.

            Contributions may be made to Blessing Heights Worship Center for Recovery Meeting in memory of Jeannie.
