Jay Warren Parker Jr., age 62, of Kissee Mills, Missouri

Jay Warren Parker Jr., age 62, of Kissee Mills, Missouri, passed away on June 25, 2022. He entered this life on August 25, 1959, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Jay Warren Parker Sr. and Mary (Kennedy) Parker. Jay was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Rhonda Parker; and brother, James Parker.

An outdoorsman, Jay worked as a logger for timber processing. He could be found fishing, camping, mushroom hunting, or just being outdoors. Jay was a member of New Vision Baptist Church in Taneyville, Missouri. Other pastimes include crocheting and spending time with his dogs. Jay will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his two sons: Herman Parker of Kissee Mills, Missouri, and John Parker of Protem, Missouri; daughter, Julia (James) Priest of Protem, Missouri; and three grandchildren: Alder and Juniper Priest of Protem, Missouri and Nile Parker of Forsyth, Missouri. Jay is also survived by brother, John Parker of Oldfield, Missouri; brother, Dave Parker of Kissee Mills, Missouri; sister, JoAnne Holmes of Nebraska; and several nieces and nephews.
