Janet Francine Hedberg 77, of Merriam Woods
Janet Francine Hedberg 77, of Merriam Woods, Missouri, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2026. She was born to Thomas and Geroldine (McCord) Roberts in Rockford, Illinois. She married the love of her life, Frederick Hedberg on March 15, 1949, in Rockford, Illinois. They had celebrated sixty-one years together this past spring.
Janet and Fred moved to Taney County area in 2009 to enjoy a slower type of life. Janet worked at Silver Dollar City, in the maintenance Department.
Janet enjoyed meeting the visitors at Silver Dollar City and being outdoors’s. She was quite a pet person, having five dogs and cats that she loved and took care of daily.
She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Geroldine (McCord) Roberts, siblings; Thomas Roberts, Eloise Roberts, and Sharon Roberts, one grandchild Ryan and one great grandchild Manson Hedberg.
Janet is survived by her loving husband Frederick Hedberg; sons Fred Hedberg, Jr. of Merriam Woods, MO., Ted Hedbert (Deede) of Chillicothe, MO., Ron Hedberg (Candy) of Forsyth, MO., one sister Phyllis Roberts of Rockford, Il., three grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
A private burial will be held at a later date.
Arrangements were under the care of Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel, Forsyth, MO.
