Harry Gilbert Wilkinson, Jr., age 73, of Exeter, Missouri passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at his home.
He was born June 24, 1949 in Neosho, Missouri the son of Harry Gilbert, Sr. and Venita (Iker) Wilkinson. On July 20, 2001 in Fayetteville, Arkansas he was united in marriage to Ruth Spencer, who survives. Also surviving are one son, Donnie Wayne Wilkinson and his wife Chris of Longview, Texas; a sister, Phyllis Ann Murphy of Springdale, Arkansas and three grandchildren, Haden Wilkinson, Spencer Wilkinson and Justice Wiggins.
Preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers, Donnie and Wayne and one sister, Mary.
Harry graduated from high school in Springdale, Arkansas. After graduating he joined the United States Marine Corps where he served in Vietnam from July 11, 1966 through June 8, 1969 as a lance corporal. Upon returning to Northwest Arkansas he began working in construction. He enjoyed building street rods and welding. Harry was the youngest of twelve children and was of the Baptist faith.
Private services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Burial will be at Fayetteville National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas
