Gloria Jean Simpkins, age 48, of Springfield, Missouri

Gloria Jean Simpkins, age 48, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away peacefully at her residence on June 1, 2022. She was born March 3, 1974, the daughter of Harold “Gene” and Sandra (Everett) Staggs in Kansas City, Missouri. She was joined in marriage to Larry Simpkins on January 2, 2004, together for eighteen years and he knew her as “boo”.

Gloria will always be remembered for her sense of humor, having a smile that would light up the room, and if she could help anyone out, she would. She had many grandkids and loved spending time with them. Her presence will be dearly missed, and she will be forever loved.

She is survived by her husband of eighteen years, Larry Simpkins; her children, Samantha Lindsey-Brooke Staggs, Amber Moses, Cody Moses, and Skylar Woods. Gloria has three sisters: Tammy Everett, Marie Snead, and Jeannie Barker; and one brother, Jason Staggs. Her beloved dog, Willow, was like one of her children, and was by her side when she passed.
