Glennie (Jake) Gene Tate II, age 52, of Parsons, Kansas

Glennie (Jake) Gene Tate II, age 52, of Parsons, Kansas, died at his home Wednesday, February 02, 2022. He was born February 7, 1969, in Harrison, Arkansas, the son of Billy and Shirley (Mills) Tate. Glennie (Jake) married Beverley (Bryd) Tate on January 29, 2009, whom he met in Pindall, Arkansas.  Jake worked for several years in the manufacturing industry of wood working and assembly of furniture. Before taking ill he was a lead supervisor.

   Glennie (Jake) loved fishing with his dad, Billy Tate, growing vegetables in his garden, cooking, and loving his fur baby, Shasta. Glennie (Jake) always like to grow hot peppers and make stews with the hottest peppers that he could grow in his garden. Glennie (Jake) loved to talk and discuss the bible.

   Glennie (Jake) is proceeded in death by his parents: Shirley (Mills) and Billy Tate; maternal grandparents: Ethel (Grooms) and Billy Mills; and paternal grandparents: Pauline (Mosley) McEntire and Glennie Tate

   Glennie (Jake) survived by his wife, Beverley (Bryd) Tate, of the home; three sisters: Doris and Mark Foresee of Harrison, Arkansas, Lois Ann and Ross Dean of Harrison, Arkansas, and Billie and Joe Reed of St. Joe, Arkansas; brother, David Smith of Pindall, Arkansas; multiple nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and a host of friends.

   Memorial Services will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made in the name of Glennie (Jake) Gene Tate II to Cremations of the Ozarks, 115 Industrial Park Dr, Hollister, Missouri 65672, 417-544-0218, to help cover funeral expenses. Interment will be held at a later date at Glencoe Cemetery in Pindall, Arkansas. Arrangements and cremation are under the care of Cremations of the Ozarks.
