Glenn Dale “Butcher” Hayworth, age 73, of Lamar, Missouri.

Glenn Dale “Butcher” Hayworth, age 73, of Lamar, Missouri passed away Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Truman Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Lamar, Missouri.

He was born February 5, 1949 in Washburn, Missouri the son of Vannie and Nellie (Gyles) Hayworth, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were four brothers and one sister.

Surviving are one brother, Vernon Hayworth and his wife Willa of Bella Vista, Arkansas; one sister Ruth Roney of Colorado Springs, Colorado and several nieces and nephews.

Butcher grew up and lived in this area all of his life. He had a paper route with his dad that he enjoyed. Some of his favorite pastimes were going hunting, fishing and vacationing with family, he especially loved trips to California with his mom and dad. Butcher liked walking to the store with his dad where he would get a soft drink and candy, which he loved. During his time at Truman Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center the staff said he was always friendly and he liked to give hugs.

Private services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
