Gary L. Howell, 72 of Ozark, MO

Gary L. Howell, 72 of Ozark, MO passed away on September 3, 2021. He passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Jacob’s Ladder End-Of-Life Legacy Home.

Gary was born June 13, 1949 in Cassville, the son of Reverend Gene and Lorene Howell. He accepted Christ as an early teen.

Gary attended Exeter school graduating from Mt. Vernon High School. After school Gary joined the USAF, being honorably discharged after serving 4 years. At that time he joined the USAF Reserves serving 10 years, all of this during the Vietnam and Desert Storm Conflicts. Gary was very dedicated to the military and loved the USA.

Gary is survived by his brother, Denny Williams and his wife Suzanne Williams of Rogersville, MO; his sister, Sandra (Howell) Smading and her husband Mike Smading of Springfield, MO and nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Tony Ball will conduct the services.
