Donald Ray “Donny” Patton, Jr., age 59, of Exeter, MO

Donald Ray “Donny” Patton, Jr., age 59, of Exeter, Missouri passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2021 as his home.2

He was born July 28, 1962 in Walnut Creek, California, the son of Don and Gloria (Mason) Patton, who preceded him in death.  Also preceding him in death were one brother, Paul Patton.

Surviving are one daughter, Candice Peterson and her husband Jace; one grandson, Jack; one sister, Kelly Paul and her husband Gary of Exeter, Missouri; one niece, Lindy Coldiron; one nephew, Nathan Maloney and his dog, Rowdy.  He had three great nephews that he loved to buy anything related to motors for, Baker Coldiron, Cooper Coldiron and Logan Maloney.

Donny’s early life was spent in the Antioch, California area.  In 1977 he moved to Missouri with his family.  He was a self-employed commercial painter but was proficient at buying, selling and trading cars boats and motorcycles.  He enjoyed the lake, anything to do with cars, boats and motorcycles.  Smart, generous, friendly, outgoing and fun to be around were how people described him.  Spending time with his friends and family were very important to him and he will be greatly missed.

Private services will be held.  Arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.

Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in memory of Donny.
