Donald Ray Marcum, age 86, of Branson, Missouri
Donald Ray Marcum, age 86, of Branson, Missouri, passed away March 29, 2022, at home with family near his bedside. He entered this life November 24, 1935, in Hartville, Missouri, the son of Arthur and Lily Belle (Garner) Marcum. He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters. He was joined in marriage April 3, 1976.
Proudly serving our country in the United States Army, Don earned a sharpshooter badge on both rifle and pistol and marksman on the carbine. He earned a master’s degree in Sociology and became a law enforcement officer. His interests were playing poker, shooting pool, catfishing, and watching the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals. Don loved his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Don is survived by his wife of 46 years, Patricia “Tricia” Marcum; and his son, Michael D. Marcum.
