David Raymond Urich, age 51, of Kirbyville, MO

David Raymond Urich, age 51, of Kirbyville, Missouri, passed away at home September 2, 2021. He was born December 9, 1969, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Claude and Margaret (Brooks) Urich. David was joined in marriage July 29, 1989, to Tracey Gray.

Being blessed with creativity, David was artistic, a talented painter and musician, who enjoyed listening to the blues and classic rock. He was a chef by trade who enjoyed cooking and being in the kitchen. This is how he showed his love to others, by cooking. A man with a wonderful personality, David’s humor kept others laughing. He was a true Patriot; he was not afraid to share his strong political beliefs with others. Most of all, David loved his grandkids and his family, who will cherish the many memories he created with them during his life.

He was preceded in death by his mother; his granny, Mary Greer; and a son, Anthony Ryan Gray.

David is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Tracey Urich of the home; his children: Andrew Urich and wife Kristy of Kirbyville, Missouri, Daniel Urich and wife Rachael of Gresham, Oregon, Baylie Gray and Chelsea Urich, both of Kirbyville, Missouri; his grandkids: Delilah Gray, Trinity Urich and Parker Urich; his dad, Claude Urich of Round Lake, Illinois; his two best friends: Quinn Taylor of St. Louis, Missouri, and Keith Hardesty of Blytheville, Arkansas; as well as his sister-in-law, Brandy Gray and fiancé Andy of Branson, Missouri.

A private family gathering was held 1:30 p.m. Sunday, September 5, 2021, at Cremations of the Ozarks, Hollister, Missouri. A celebration of Life will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday September 10, 2021, at New Beginnings Fellowship. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
