Cynthia J. Anderson, age 65, of Hollister, Missouri.

Cynthia J. Anderson, age 65, of Hollister, Missouri, passed away with family by her side on July 3, 2022. She entered this life on September 26, 1956, the daughter of Margaret (Guy) and Henry “Bud” Bergman in Lexington, Nebraska. Cynthia is preceded in death by her father, Henry “Bud” Joseph Bergman; stepfather, Myron Haugland; beloved yorkies: Buddy Guy and Kali Jo; and several aunts and uncles.

A doting mother and grandmother, Cynthia loved to have long talks with her pride and joy, Sarah Jo. She loved spending time with her grandbabies, while reserving a special place in her heart for Ellis. Cynthia enjoyed Diet Coke, swimming, spending time in the sun, and visiting her happy place: a cabin in Minnesota. With a crafter’s soul, Cynthia could make anything into a beautiful work of art. Cynthia was full of sass, stubbornness, and an immense amount of love for her family and friends. She was greatly loved by all who knew her. The memories created by Cynthia will be treasured forever.

She is survived by daughter, Sarah Jo Effertz and husband, Dickie of Eureka Springs, Arkansas; grandchildren: Mark Murphy of Branson, Missouri, Skylar Wilson of Branson, Missouri, and Raina Jo of Eureka Springs, Arkansas; great-grandchildren: Ellis Jo Murphy, Navaeh Silva Murphy, Kennedy Murphy, and Murphy Wilson; mom, Margaret Haugland; sisters: Mysty (Kenny) Green, Lisa (Foster) Caryl, and Heidi (Ryan) Gidel; brothers: Dean (Tina) Anderson and David Anderson; uncle, Jim Guy; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
