Clarence Thomas Carr, age 77, of Cape Fair, Missouri

Clarence Thomas Carr, age 77, of Cape Fair, Missouri, departed this life September 25, 2021, at his home with family nearby. He was born in Reeds Spring, Missouri, to Charles and Beulah (Davis) Carr. He attended Reeds Spring Schools, graduating in 1962.

Clarence married Luetta Rowe June 5, 1965, and they were blessed with one son, Brian.

He was employed at Silver Dollar City for 38 years where he made many lifelong friends. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching local stock car races. Clarence liked to plant a big garden and share produce with friends and neighbors. He and his family attended the Church of Christ at Cape Fair.

Clarence is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Carl D. Smith.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Luetta Carr; his son, Brian Carr; three nephews: Michael Smith, Carey Smith, and Tommy Smith; one niece, Kimberly Angeles; and many friends.

No formal services are currently planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to St. Jude Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
