Christine Boring, 97 of Galena, MO
Christine Boring, Galena, MO, daughter of Anna Haas, was born May 6, 1924, in Offenbach, Germany and departed this life on August 20, 2021, at the age of 97.
Christine had been a resident of the area for many years. She was a homemaker a member of the United Methodist Church of Kimberling City, MO. She was an active volunteer for Christian Associates and the Kimberling City Elks Auxiliary.
Christine was preceded in death by her husband, John Boring; her mother; and brother, Heinz Heinrich.
Survivors include: her daughter, Shiralee Gosselin and husband, William of Big Sandy, TN; nephew, Gerhardt Heiseler and wife, Elizabeth of Germany; four grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, August 25, 2021, 6:00-7:00 p.m. at Stumpff Funeral Home Kimberling City, MO. Burial will be Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Missouri Veterans Cemetery Springfield, MO with Reverend Clif Crockett officiating.
