Charles Earls

Charles Earls, beloved husband of Scottie Earls and cherished father of Scott Earls, entered into rest on Monday, July 25, 2022 at the age of 83.

Services will be Monday, August 1, 2022 at Branson United Methodist Church.  Visitation will begin at 12:30 PM and funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM in the church.  Burial will be on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at 2:00 PM in Maple Cemetery, Caruthersville, MO.  Arrangements are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.

Charles Cletus Earls was born on November 23, 1938 in Lilbourn, Missouri.  He attended the University of Missouri in Columbia.  On June 25, 1960, Charles married Scottie Jolliff in the Deering United Methodist Church.  

Charles moved to Branson 29 years ago from Kennett, Missouri.  He operated and was a broadcaster with Earls Family Broadcasting.  Charles was a faithful member of the Branson United Methodist Church and part of the Friendship Class.  He was dearly loved and his presence will be deeply missed until we see him again.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, James & Lottie Earls; two sisters, Dorothy Crosno and Mary Goebel and his brother, Alvin Earls.

He leaves behind his wife Scottie Earls of Branson and son Scott Earls and wife Lisa of Branson as well as his four precious grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.  He is also survived by his sister, Anna Marie Earls of Springdale, AR.
